High School Music Theater — 3-Week Residential Program

Application required: Applicants must apply through and submit a photo, resume & audition. 

Age range: This program is recommended for students who are currently in the 9th through 12th grade. Seniors who have been accepted into ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app are also welcome to attend.

Audition submissions will be accepted beginning Nov. 1, 2024. Students who apply by January 15 save 15% off their tuition.

The 3-Week High School Music Theater Program is an extension ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app's Musical Theater Degree. This experience is meant to give high school students the true ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app college experience.

Real ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app taught by faculty members. Unlike other programs, here you'll get to work with college faculty members and experience the world-class training our musical theater students receive.

Students get a glimpse of what it's really like to be a college musical theater major and the rigor of being a college music student.

9:30 A.M. to NoonVoice Class, Dance, Acting - students rotate through 3 ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app each morning

2 to 5 P.M.Music rehearsal, private voice lessons, vocal coaching, masterºìÐÓÖ±²¥app or electives. Students will receive an individualized schedule.

Week Three - Morning Classes, Tech Rehearsals, Dress Rehearsals, Seniors Film Pre-Screens, Performances

This will include uploading your headshot, resume, and audition materials. A $50 application fee is required to submit your summer application. 

*Note - Please apply to only one program! If you decide to change programs contact us at [email protected] and we can change your program without submitting an additional application.

  • Two songs from the musical theater repertoire — one pre-1970 musical theater selection and one of your choice
  • A theatrical monologue not exceeding 1 minute
  • Whenever possible, we prefer live piano accompaniment but we will allow pre-recorded accompaniments. Please check your sound balance to make sure we can hear both you and your accompaniment.
  • Recordings of live stage performances/shows are not acceptable
  • Unaccompanied (a capella) auditions should be your last option
