Dean of Petree College of Arts & Sciences, Amy Cataldi talks about her pets, Winnie and Lewis.
We rescued them when they were a puppy and kitten respectively.
We have the luxury of taking Winnie for long walks during “recess” now that I am homeschooling my 1st and 5th grader.
Other than that, she protects the house/kids by barking incessantly at any “threat” that breezes by the house (most notably the mailperson but also including any random plastic bags).
Winnie got shaved today from her wild and shedding self to her spring/summer look. Too bad it is 40 degrees out… sorry Winnie, it was a sweltering 70 when I made the appointment.
Nothing fazes Lewis, and he just roams from bedroom to bedroom napping. Life is unaltered for his highness.
