Biography
Bruce Wexler has been living and working in Los Angeles for nearly twenty years, accumulating meaningful experiences in theatre, television, and film. After finishing up his tenure in the famed Groundlings Sunday Company, Bruce had the distinct honor of being invited to New York to meet Lorne Michaels and screen test for SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE. Shortly thereafter, he was cast as a company member in the sketch comedy pilot THE MEN’S ROOM, created by SNL and Real Time With Bill Maher alum, Michael Wilson. Additionally, Bruce is a regular performer at the Impro Theatre, LA’s home for narrative improv, where full two act plays are completely improvised in genres including Jane Austen, Tennessee Williams, and film noir. Elements of sketch and improv have woven their way into just about every professional experience Bruce has had. Bruce is a veteran of over 50 commercials, a diverse slate of voiceover experiences, guest stars on ABC’s STUMPTOWN and FXX’s IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA, and he currently recurs as Rue’s father on HBO’s EUPHORIA.
