Biography
Derrick comes to ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app by way of Long Beach, CA. While in southern California, he worked as an actor and independent filmmaker in the greater Los Angeles area. For the past year, though, he taught acting at Southwestern College in San Diego.
Earning an MFA in both theatre (acting) and film production (directing & screenwriting), Derrick has worked as an actor in theatre and on-camera for four decades. Having made his first feature film in 2013, he has churned out several short films since then; and is currently writing his second feature film — striving to go into production summer ‘25.
A native of Greenville, NC, Derrick completed his undergraduate studies in his hometown at East Carolina University. A beach lover, Derrick says he’s looking forward to seeing what the lakes of OKC have to offer. In addition to that, he runs, works out, and plays golf.
