Biography
Dr. Jian Song is a behavioral and experimental economist, focusing on studying behavior within competitive settings using both theoretical and experimental approaches. She has published in journals such as the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization and the Journal of Economic Psychology. Her research has received financial support from multiple external research grants, including the National Science Foundation (NSF) in the United States.
Dr. Song's primary teaching interest involves combining insights from both Economics and Psychology to help students understand how choices are made in real life. She utilizes in-class experiments and discussions to create an engaging and enjoyable learning environment.
