ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app athletics demonstrated holiday spirit with another record number of food items for in its annual Christmas food drive.
ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app student-athletes collected 20,181 non-perishable food items to help feed the hungry of the community – 8,185 more than last year’s record total. The ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app athletics annual food drive has piled up 70,027 food items over the past nine years.
°¿°ä±«â€™s men’s soccer team brought in the most items with 6,000. An unprecedented seven ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app teams among the Stars’ 21 intercollegiate varsity programs exceeded 1,000 items.
The ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app athletic department enlisted the aid of several ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app campus departments as well as its fans to contribute to the effort.
