Silent March Honors Martin Luther King

ΊμΠΣΦ±²₯app faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in ΊμΠΣΦ±²₯app City’s celebration honoring Martin Luther King on Monday.

The Silent March will begin at 9 a.m. at the Freedom Center, located at N.E. 26th Street and MLK Boulevard, ending at the ΊμΠΣΦ±²₯app History Center at Phillips Avenue and N.E. 23rd Street. Please gather at 8 a.m. in advance of the march. The symbolic Bell Ringing Ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. at the ΊμΠΣΦ±²₯app History Center.

The MLK Day Holiday Parade will begin at 2 p.m. The route proceeds from Broadway and 8th Street to Sheridan and Mickey Mantle Drive. Please gather by 1 p.m. in advance of the parade.
The theme this year is β€œThe Color of Unity.” Consider incorporating the theme into signage, T-shirts or elsewhere, and also consider wearing ΊμΠΣΦ±²₯app attire as a sign of campus unity.
