A quality RN-BSN program for the adult learner

The RN-BSN program at ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app City University Kramer School of Nursing is for Registered Nurses who want to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.

In addition to face-to-face ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app on campus, ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app's Kramer School of Nursing also offers online cohorts.

The BSN graduate of ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app's Kramer School of Nursing will function as a professional nurse able to: 

  • Demonstrate clinical competence in the provision of ethical and legal nursing care.
  • Collaborate with and educate clients regarding self-care activities designed to promote health, restore wellness and prevent illness.
  • Utilize the nursing process as a critical thinking framework for problem solving and making effective clinical judgments.
  • Promote physical, mental, social and spiritual health across the life span within diverse cultures.
  • Manage, coordinate, and delegate care of clients within and in collaboration with the health care system. Exemplify the caring behaviors of acceptance of, respect for and empathy with the client.
  • Exemplify the caring behaviors of acceptance of, respect for and empathy with the client.

Please note that ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app's on-campus RN-BSN program features one start (fall semester/August) each year.

KSN gives you 94 hours of course credit for your active RN license, experience, certifications and continuing education.

The BSN requires a total of 124 credit hours:

  • 72 hours for an active, unencumbered U.S. RN license
  • 30 credit hours taken at ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app City University
    • 18 credit hours in nursing courses
    • 12 credit hours of general education courses
  • 22 transfer, portfolio and/or additional credits from ºìÐÓÖ±²¥app City University. to view the nursing portfolio information.

Most students can finish their full degree in as little as nine months, with multiple start dates for online students and a fall start date for in-person students. Contact us to evaluate your transcript and see what courses you will need to complete.
